Raised in Hollis Queens New York, home town of Russell Simmons, RunDmc, Jam Master Jay. Hurricane has been djing and rapping since the age of 13. He started out with the first rap group from Hollis called Solo Sounds with Davy DMX.

In 1986 while on tour with RunDmc he bacame the DJ for the Beastie Boys.  He would then DJ for them from 1986 till 1998, along that journey he was also putting out solo ablums and forming a group with Jam Master Jay called the Afros.

The countries he would perform at where Germany, Spain, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Jerusalem, Jakarta, China, Poland, London, Rome, Paris, Greece, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Holland and New Zeland to name a few.

He has also toured with RunDmc, LL Cool J, George Clinton, Foo Fighters, Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, Nirvana, Faith Evans, Green Day, Will Smith, Rage Against The Machine, The Roots and Tupac and countless others.
