Kutmaster Spaz is a nationally recognized re-mixer/DJ by the music industry. Spaz was the first DJ/mixer in Hawaii to receive a national award labeled "Mixer of the Week" by Hitmakers magazine, a national music industry magazine, for his work in promoting new urban and Hip Hop music to Hawaii.

Kutmaster Spaz is one of Hawaii's premier re-mix disc jockey’s that has been practicing his craft for the past 20 years. Spaz has had the privilege of mixing and working at some of the top radio stations in Hawaii including 93.1 (KQMQ), Xtreme Radio @ 104.3 (now known as Power 1043), Q-103 (KNUQ) and Hawaii’s Hip Hop and R&B HOT 93.9 (KIKI). Spaz has also been pleasing crowds in the thousands at clubs and shows around the state for the last 18 years with his microphone showmanship and unique music blends incorporating turntable tricks with a smooth club mix style along with hype party call and response type chants. With Spaz’s notoriety and ability it’s no wonder promoters and producers use his services to hype up Hip Hop tours, Dance Party Concerts and Big Shows here in Hawaii and all over the world. Spaz has performed and mixed for artist including Ice Cube, Black Eye Peas, Baby Bash, 112, Angelina of the New Ridaz, Jasmine Trias and that’s just to name a few.

Kutmaster Spaz has always and continues to volunteer his time to visit different schools and communities to educate students about career opportunities, peer pressure and the growing problems of drug use. In 1998 Spaz was awarded by the American Lung Association for his self-made program entitled "Lunch Mix", which encourages public high school students to make positive choices in their lives. Spaz has also been awarded the prestigious “Ola pono award” from The Coalition for a Drug Free Hawaii for his years of work promoting a life style of “Living Right”. Spaz is the only DJ entertainer in the State honored with the Hawaii Business Jaycees “Three Outstanding Young Persons” award for his continues work with community programs and organizations including The American Lung Association, HMSA, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, D.A.R.E., Aloha United Way, Domestic Violence Foundation, Hawaii Food Bank, G.R.E.A.T. Program and New Hope Christian Fellowship. Spaz was also awarded with The Governor’s 2002 Kilohana volunteer award and also received Hawaii Music Awards for “Best Hip Hop Album” of 2001 (for SPIN CITY) and 2003 (for REACT FOR HIM).

In 2003 Spaz signed with Oceanic Time Warner Cable (Hawaii) to be the Executive Producer and Host for a T.V. show on OC16 called DIS-N-DAT. DIS-N-DAT TV is about Urban Entertainment, Street Fashion and a Positive Lifestyle. Spaz’s mission with DIS-N-DAT is to bring a positive, informative, and entertaining TV show to Hawaii and the rest of the World. The show can be seen in Hawaii every Wednesday night at 10:00 pm on Oceanic Time Warner Cable’s OC16 and in select City’s on IPTV.

Kutmaster Spaz has made the transition from being "just a Hip Hop DJ" to a multi-media producer, production manger, promotions director, voice talent, on screen actor and business man. Spaz's production credit's include work on numerous music videos including Jasmine Trias, I.A. and other local Hip Hop R&B artist. Spaz's on camera credit includes a character role (Diego) on ABC’s hit TV Show LOST, major commercials for Bank of America and hosting DIS-N-DAT T.V. Spaz’s innovative and creative marketing skills has lead to the success of Xtreme Radio's #1 status in 1999, in 2000 the Worlds first DJ School for Turntablist, Sassy's #1 teen magazine status in 2002, “React For Him” Hip Hop Album of the year (2003) and the creation of DIS-N-DAT TV, which is now one of the longest running shows on OC16 and is syndicated world wide through IPTV. Currently Spaz is the President for the DIS-N-DAT Media Group (a multi-media production company) as well as the Music and Marketing Director at CW’s Night Club on Lewers in Waikiki were you can findon the weeknds doing what he loves the most…mixing music and making people have a good time.
