Black Thought & Questlove Ink Universal Television Deal

Black Thought and Questlove’s Two One Five Entertainment production company has signed a first-look deal with Universal Television Alternative Studio and Universal Television, which is a subsidiary of NBCUniversal Content Studios.

The two have been a part of the NBC family since 2009 when The Roots became the house band for Jimmy Fallon’s talk show. Their new three-year agreement with Universal includes the development of scripted and unscripted programming for television and digital platforms.
