Music, Poetry, Dance, Film and Spoken Word are the vehicles we will use to promote the message of peace and unity in the community. Newark Mayor Ras. J. Baraka invites you to join us Friday August 28th at 6pm on Clinton Avenue in Newark, NJ between Bergen Street and Osborne Terrace. Food and merchandise vendors will be present. This is a family event that signals the start of the upcoming school year. All ages, races and faces are welcome.
