Former Bad Boy Records artist, Black Rob is ready to put the game on smash. After a four plus year hiatus he is in the studio putting the finishing touches on his latest studio album, Game Tested & Street Approved. According to Black Rob, Game Tested and Street Approved is a "testimony of what I stand for and how I feel."
"The people have been asking for true hip-hop music and that's what I'm giving them," Black Rob stated. "I stayed away from features. I've been away for 4 ..., so I feel the people deserve to hear me. When I came home, I went right to work, and didn't have time to reach out to cats. On my next project you will get that. As for producers, I have some up-and-coming cats on there. I believe in giving cats a chance. As far as named producers you may hear a joint or two from Buckwild, Self Service, Bishop, Scram Jones and Pete Rock."
Game Tested and Street Approved is Black Rob's first album in over five years.
His sophomore album The Black Rob Report was released in 2005 and has moved over 100,000 units to date.
His Bad Boy debut, Life Story, moved over 1 million units, based on the hit single "Whoa!" Now working with Duck Down Records, he's ready to give hip-hop what it's calling for.
