Facebook game addicts, this one’s for you – a collaboration between Zynga, the developer of your favorite Mafia Wars online game was chosen by hip hop legendary icon, Dr. Dre to promote an upcoming album. This is the first in-game music partnership for Zynga that includes streaming the music video for “Kush”, the first single from Dre’s long-anticipated new album Detox, due out in early 2011.

Dr. Dre is not only existing in the hip hop society but now expanding on video games. The video will appear as part of a “Hustlin’ Wit Dre” portion of the game, which will encourage gamers to collect Dre-inspired virtual goods such as headphones, weapons, and vehicle with incentives like exclusive video message from Dre himself, pair of Beats By Dre headphones and signed copy of the album, Detox. With Dre rocking an upcoming game, you won’t have a choice but to participate in and enjoy the provided freebies.

Prior to this project, Zynga has teamed up with hip hop icon, Snoop Dogg earlier this year that made the Mafia Wars garnered ten million visitors in two weeks.
