Stalley To Perform in NY Fundraiser For Juvenile Delinquents

Stalley Teams With Non-Profit Organization For New York City Book Drive

Stalley is not only speaking about giving back to the community, he "s taking action. According to All HipHop, the Maybach Music rapper is set to headline a fundraiser aimed at encouraging education.

The event, to be held on December 6, in New York is a collaboration with the Scholarich Foundation, and will feature a performance from the Midwest native.

A New York based, nonprofit organization, the Scholarich Foundation works to make education “more attractive to the urban youth by providing engaging co-curricular programs that instill academic responsibility in students.” In order to reach their goal, the foundation has launched a page via Go Fund Me, in hopes of raising $5,000 to assist in funding “unique programs” which give students incentive to get good grades, while reinforcing the “importance of academic excellence.”

Stalley will join a group of local rappers, singers, educators and others, for the book drive, sponsored by the likes of The Source magazine, Ciroc, and the Blue Collar Gang.

All of the books collected during the drive will go to juvenile detention centers around the city, in hopes of promoting education to incarcerated youth.
