Rap mogul Jay-Z, Kanye West, Young Jeezy and a slew of other hip-hop artists are reportedly uniting to boycott performing in Florida in light of the state "s publicized "Stand Your Ground" law.

Started by music icon Stevie Wonder earlier this month, the number of artists getting involved has reportedly sprouted overnight.

Artists joining Wonder reportedly include Rod Stewart, Madonna, Usher, and Justin Timberlake. Rappers Jay Z, Kanye West, Trey Songz, Young Jeezy and Wale have also signed on to the boycott threat, as have pop acts like R. Kelly, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys. Wonder announced his intended boycott the day after a Florida jury acquitted George Zimmerman of second-degree murder charges stemming from the death of Trayvon Martin. "I decided today that until the "stand your ground " law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again," he said. "As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world." (The Hill)

A full list of artists reportedly not performing in Florida has surfaced.

A source close to Stevie Wonder confirms a list of artist joining him in support of a change of in the Stand Your Ground Law in Florida. Some of the artists have even cancelled concerts in Florida after recent events. Stevie Wonder last week, at a concert in Canada said he would not play in Florida until they changed The Stand your Ground Law. Earlier this month, a Facebook page urging people not to support select Florida-based companies launched.
