Diddy Tops Forbes Worlds 20 Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Artists List

Forbes releases their list of the Highest Paid Hip-Hop Artists, with Diddy coming in first, Jay Z second and Dr. Dre third..

Hip-hop’s net worth king Diddy, claims his first annual earnings crown thanks mostly to the success of Ciroc vodka. Other ingredients in his cash cocktail: record label Bad Boy, clothing line Sean John and, soon, cable channel Revolt.

Hov pulled in $43 million, while Aftermath founder Dr. Dre comes just under him at the #3 spot with $40 million in earnings. The YMCMB label is also represented on the Forbes list, with four rappers, Drake ($10.5 million), Lil Wayne ($16 million), Birdman ($21 million) and Nicki Minaj-- the only woman on the list at the #4 spot ($29 million).
