PMD of EPMD, is back with a new solo effort entitled New Business. Although the current status of EPMD is uncertain, it hasn’t stopped the mic doctor from delivering the fix his fans crave.

With projects including, Shade Business, & Business is Business it was only right to title the new EP New Business. The 7-track EP opens with an acapella intro, setting the tone reminding listeners of his legendary status. The title track “New Business,” the only track without features, captures the essence of the project, with PMD flexing his lyrical muscles. “Hit-Squad,” track 3, is a heavy with horns and wild violin production features Nymrod and General Stone. This anthem is sure to make anybody feel like they are ready for war. “Smoke MC’s” is a rugged track, where PMD lets us know he doesn’t “smoke crack, but smoke’s MC’s.” “Gangstas Paradise,” opens with the smooth croon of Enjo, and PMD detailing that overall live is still good. “We Don’t F With Y’all” snaps us out of the trance of Gangstas Paradise, back to the hard hitting production, followed by the final track “Symphony 2013? a lyrical collision featuring Michael Nixx, and Joey Battz end the project rather abruptly but not before each MC delivered their “New Business.”
