50 Cent & Method Man Both Book Feature Film Roles

Some quickie casting news...

First, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has joined Jason Patric, John Cusack, Johnathon Schaech, Gia Mantegna and South Korean actor-singer Rain for the Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films production - The Prince.

A thriller directed by Brian A. Miller, The Prince stars Patric as a retired Las Vegas mob enforcer who is forced to return to the city and face his former enemies when his teenage daughter goes missing.

No word on what role exactly Fiddy has signed up to play.

Principal photography begins this month in Mobile, AL.

On Fiddy "s upcoming slate, the Starz network drama Power, which he "s exec producing and co-starring in with Omari Hadwick and Naturi Naughton among others.

Second, Cliff “Method Man” Smith co-stars in the Tom McCarthy comedy titled The Cobbler, which stars Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman and Steve Buscemi.

Plot details on The Cobbler are being kept underwraps currently, although word is that the film will follow a shoe repairman who has the ability to metaphysically step into the lives of the people whose shoes he restores.

Method "s been busy with his acting career, recently wrapping Lucky N#mbr (currently in post-production) and Staten Island Summer, which is wrapping up shooting.
