As a result of suffering from health issues the past few years, Nate Dogg passed away yesterday. Although the cause of death hasn’t been reported, the Hip-Hop star suffered from strokes in 2007 and 2008.

Nate was known for collaborating with Eminem and Dr. Dre. Also, along with Snoop Dogg and Warren G. he was a founding member of the Hip-Hop group 213.

As recent as last week, Warren G. indicated that Nate was receiving treatment. He tweeted, ”For those that dont know awhile back nate had 2 strokes he is in therapy thanks again for your support.”

Snoop also gave a shout out to his friend whose real name was Nathaniel Hale. “We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb,” he tweeted. “One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met.”
