Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly was streamed more than 9.6 million times on Spotify Monday (March 16), its first day of availability. 

That sets a global record for the most album streams in a single day worldwide on Spotify, according to a press release. 

Spotify is available in 58 markets and has more than 60 million active users.

Last year, K Lamar saw his Spotify numbers increase over 99% following the Grammys, which were held January 26, 2014.
