HIP-HOP LEGEND DARRYL ‘DMC’ MCDANIELS USES MUSIC TO MENTOR AND MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE FOR KIDS FACING OBSTACLES

Over 75 children from the garden of dreams get to rehearse with Darryl McDaniels aka DMC for their upcoming star studded talent show April 11 at Radio City Music Hall. DMC will watch and listen as the kids rehearse their singing and/or dancing act and provide helpful advice on how to improve their technique and overall performance using his musical experience and background.

Standout performances by the Garden of Dreams kids include: a children’s choir, a 5year old tap dancer, a 6year old pianist, and a brother & sister musical duo.

This year’s talent show will showcase more than 20 different performances from over 12 Garden of Dreams Foundation partner organizations, including SCO Family of Services, Children’s Aid Society, NYU Medical Center and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
