Edo G & DJ Premier Reunite On "A Face In The Crowd" Album On May 17

The O.G. is back with a new album, which he "s calling his "best album to date."

Boston, Massachusetts Hip Hop pioneer Edo G (f/k/a Ed O.G.) will release his latest album in a 20 year-career on May 17 in A Face In The Crowd. To be released by Traffic Entertainment, the effort finds the former front-man Da Bulldogs and an active Special Teamz member reuniting with Gang Starr producer DJ Premier. In 2000, the pair worked together on Edo "s "Sayin " Somethin "" single from Truth Hurts.

Additionally involved with A Face In The Crowd is Statik Selektah, Slaine, Chali 2na, M1 and Bishop Lamont.

Edo G called the album his best work, saying, "A Face in The Crowd will double your pleasure and triple your pain. It "s my best album to date. Feel-good music boom-bap music, Hip Hop music."

Edo "s latest album was a 2009 collaborative project, A&E, with EMC member and Brooklyn, New York veteran Masta Ace.
