Hip-hop was alive and well on Summer Stage in Central Park yesterday. Funkmaster Flex warmed up the crowd and showed why he was built to rock the party. DJ Scratch followed his lead and tore the sky open with his catalog and turntablism. Once his bandmates, EPMD, hit the stage the party was in full effect. By themselves EPMD was a highlight, but when you add the great Rakim to the bill, that "s what NYC and hip-hop is all about. Enjoy the clips.
