Tech N9ne Announces New Collaboration Album "Welcome to Strangeland "; 42-Date Tour

Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne has announced a new album and tour to promote the artists on his independent record label, Strange Music, as well as a new collaboration album, Welcome to Strangeland.

Tech N9ne has announced the release of Welcome to Strangeland, which is due in stores on his birthday, November 8th.

The collaboration album is the first release by Tech N9ne to feature all Strange Music artists and the fourth in his Tech N9ne "s Collabos series, which he started releasing in 2007 with the album Misery Loves Kompany.

Rappers who make appearance on Welcome to Strangeland include Brother Lynch Hung, Young Bleed, Stevie Stone, Mayday, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun and The 816 Boys.

"Most artists, they "ll invite another rapper to guest on their track, but then have that rapper record their part first to make sure they don "t get shown up," Tech N9ne told AllHipHop.com in a statement.

"Not me. I "m a Technician. I "m fully confident in my ability and my delivery," the rapper continued. "I "ll always record my part first so that anyone I "m collaborating with understands where I "m coming from and the level of quality I represent. That "s why I "m always completely behind these Collabos releases. Seeing how the artists on Welcome To Strangeland are all artists fit to be members of the Strange Music roster, this is the strongest, Strangest Collabo release yet."

To support Welcome to Strangeland, Tech N9ne will launch the 42 date “Lost Cities” tour, that will kick off September 29th in Lawrence, Kansas.

The tour will rap up November 11th at Kansas City "s Midland Theatre.
