Gangstarr rap Guru will receive an honorary Converse sneaker to pay respects to his legacy as a Hip-Hop legend.

The X Label and The Ave Venice, a store in Venice Beach, CA., collaborated for the kick, which is formally called “The Keithy E Demo Tape Shoe.” Keithy E was Guru’s rap name in his formative years of rapping.

The companies will only release 50 pairs.
According to a press release, “the shoe consist of the cover of Guru’s first demo tape on the outer and inner parts of the shoe. The tongue of the shoe holds Guru’s signature “Keithy E” imprinted across the upper flap.”

Fans that purchase the song will also be able to personalize it with their favorite Guru track.
