The soundtrack has an eccentric mix of music (everything from rap to rock is repped here) and a nice mix of old music (Eric B. & Rakim "s "I Ain "t No Joke") and new hits (Kanye West "s "Mercy.")

One interesting choice is Mobb Deep "s hood classic "Shook Ones." That selection is interesting because Mobb Deep member Prodigy and Jay have had tension in the past.
