why did i bother voting? who knows. Biggie was dope, but 'Hip-hop' is a multi-facited universal culture that will always aspire to it's birth place, NYC. there for the question is irrelevant.
Yea, but you gotta admit Ken, Hip-Hop's 'reign' does float around. NY was on top for the longest, then the West Coast, then the Dirty, Dirty. It always come back to the essence, NYC, but it may have slipped away when he passed.
The story telling may have stopped in the mainstream, but the Underground story telling is still alive and well!
Hate to admit it, but it did.
After BIGGIE Pasted the Story telling in Rap Stopped.
