Sorry fellas...gotta go with the 90's. In the 70's Hip-Hop was created, in the 80's it was still being shaped but in the 90's it was perfected! The 90's decade captured the true essence of Hip-Hop. Myself, being thirty-something, I am blessed to say I was witness to every aspect of it's evolution.
I luv all era's, but nothing tops the Golden era in the 80's! The 90's are a close 2nd, and much respect due to the founders of this culture representing the 70's!
love this time!
i agree
the 70's (the PARK ERA) is the MOST PUREST time in hip-hop due to the fact that the money those cats made back then is pocket change compared to todays fees & costs...BUT the love and understanding of CULTURE OF HIP-HOP was what it was about back then GENUINE LOVE FOR THE ART not just PLAYING A PART
