Smoove Sean, born Sean Lloyd in Wilmington, Delaware, decided at thirteen years of age to become an MC. Right away he found himself on stage before his class rapping at special events at local schools. Smoove's audiences were quickly swept by his lyrical ability and raspy baritone voice.

Smoove Sean went right to work on his first solo project. A ten song album titled Now or Never in which he sold over fifteen hundred copies out of a book bag. He performed at showcases and competitions throughout Philadelphia, Wilmington and Chester. It was in Chester, Pa where he teamed up with Never Broke Records to record his second album. A fourteen song album that was never released. Smoove continued performing and doing radio and local television station interviews.

After his stint at Never Broke, Smoove ventured to the west coast where he continued to perform. It is then that Smoove started recording his third album with producer James Coffield called 'On the Come Up'! He recorded with The Dogg Pound and also with Def Jam recording artist Dove Shack and legendary guitarist, 'Fuzzy' Rankin. Smoove also recorded his first video 'I Pray to You' which was featured on the 'Holla Back DVD mix tape. It was also aired on the Fa' Sho Show in L.A. and Get Busy Productions So Sincere Videos in Wilmington, Delaware.

Smoove returned to the east coast and recorded a fourth album called 'Yung Ryda' which featured hits like 'This is How it Is' and 'At the Club'. At the Club became one of the top five most requested songs on Wilmington's KISS 101.7 Smoove sold over twelve hundred units on the streets of Wilmington, Chester and Philly.

In 2007 Smoove Sean was selected out of six hundred applicants by record company executives from Sony, Geffen, Interscope, Columbia, and Def Jam to be the opening act for Wilmington's WJKS Kiss 101.7 2007 Spring Jam at the Grand Opera House. The show included acts such as Bobby Valentino, Lil Mama, MIMS, The Shop Boys, Unk, Young Gunz, Monica and Tank. Smoove's performance propelled him to the head of the local rap scene. Because of his performance his popularity grew in local newspapers, tv, radio and on the internet. WJKS named Smoove Sean their KISS Idol for 2007.

It was then that Smoove Sean began to work on his fourth album with Bubb Da Producer. A fourteen song cd titled, 'I Run The Game!' which is currently being sold on the streets of Wilmington, Chester, Philadelphia, Atlanta, L.A, Miami and has ventured into the overseas market . The title track is now getting airplay in Lansing, MI, Buffalo, New York, Columbus, GA, Birmingham, AL and Baton Rouge, LA., Miami, FL, Los Angeles, CA and overseas. To date the album has sold well over five thousand units and continues to be requested in many markets...
